We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. The background could have a bit more depth. It should be a bit darker.
But the creature is very cool. If you shaded the border of it more, it would become more 3dimensional.

It's dark and weird. I don't know how well the green works here, but I don't suppose any other colour would work just the same. It wouldn't have the same effect.
