I think I like your black and white works better than your color works. Not to say that you don't have good color works, but there is something about the way in which the b & w help to give your images a really interesting sense of claustrophobia and I like that. Plus, this is morbid but avoids being really cliche, which is nice. Good job.
Well, not that I am a b&w addict, but I think it is way easier than dealing with colors. Colored works always demand so much thinking on subjective details, than a lazy person as I am can deal properly.
Anyway, it is pretty ironic that this piece was only a base sketch to a colored one (thats why it has so few shading details). But as it come out much better than my usual sketches, I decided to keep here until I decide how (when) to color it.
I am still not sure what I would do, but please, don't be so frustrated if you eventually see a (worse) colored version of this one ok?
And yes, thanks for your kind comment .

The thing that always helped me... because I had a lot of trouble working on color as I had always been a b&w artist, is to limit your palette to say.... reds... or blues... for a certain piece. It lets you solve things in ways you might not have thought of before if you are simply going at it with all your colors. Not to say this is what you need to do but I know it helped me out. Good luck!
Indeed, mono and duotones solutions are really interesting to create specific moods, I am like a child when comes to color, urging to use all the color pallete available. I am not sure if its a Miro or Matisse influence, or maybe the abusive use of psychotropics, but colorful paintings are really fun to do .
Anyway, I just got some ideas for this piece.
Thanks again for your comments, they were really useful.

This is extremely ugly, but in a very brilliant way. Now I'm somewhere in between thinking that you are a brilliant artist and that I don't want to see your works ever again because they make my insides twist, which seems quite amazing to me, considering that although I'm a cuteness addict I also like to look and art types like body mutilation and similar stuff, and that I've seen most of what the internet has to offer.
